Mowbray has an active Parents & Citizens (P&C) Association, with a number of sub-committees, working for the good of the school and the benefit of our students.

Our aims are:

  • to improve areas of school need
  • promote closer co-operation between parents, carers and teaching staff
  • represent parent views
  • support school activities and programs
  • strengthen the links between school and the wider community.

The volunteer members of the P&C, with the school, decide how fundraising dollars are spent. Membership is open to all parents and carers of students attending the school and to all citizens with in the school. Decisions can only be made by the agreement of a majority of members so meetings remain an important part of P&C procedure. It is not essential that members attend every meeting, but regular attendance is the best way to find out what is happening. It will also ensure that decisions are carried out and funds are spent according to the wishes of the majority. To join the P&C, please complete the membership form and send in to the office with your $1 annual membership fee.

The P&C creates the opening for additional parent participation in the school. We welcome everyone involved with in our school community to participate in P&C activities and meetings. It is a great way to support your child’s education, get to know other parents and to be up to date on what is happening at school through:
